Ok, so no snow yet here in Bromont. We do expect some this weekend or next week. But don’t worry; there’s a white Christmas on the way.
Until the snow comes, what else is there to do in Bromont?
Plenty! To start, the mountain is already open and 4 trails are now covered with snow. If you love spring skiing, here’s your chance to do it in December! If hiking is more your thing, still a 100 kilometers of trails are still accessible for walking. It’s still warm enough for it, so why not!?
There are other benefits to not having snow yet. For instance, the Bromont skating rink is all set up with the nets and boards. Since there’s no ice yet, you can use it to play street hockey. And if you just can’t wait to hit the ice, the Bromont arena is open for public skating on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The Bromont Equestrian Center is another option. Snow or no snow, a horseback ride is always a treat. Then, there’s the municipal library. Yup, even in 2016, there are still “real” books for you to read. The collection features something for all age groups – from your comic books for the kids to your 50 Shades of Grey for the grownups. Another suggestion, the « Balade des gens heureux » that brings you to two vineyards and the alpacas’ farm.
For teens, the skate park is open until dark, while artistic souls will enjoy Thursday nights at the Edgar Hyperlodge featuring a singer-songwriter. I named the Edgar as an example, because Bromont as plenty as tasteful restaurant to try. The majority of them located on Shefford street.
On a laidback day, talking a walk in the Vieux Village on Shefford Street remains a classic. The local merchants will be more than happy to say hello. As for us, our Quartier Général is now home to a new pop-up boutique, Autour de la table, where you can do a bit of holiday shopping. Speaking of shopping, don’t forget about “Factories.” Who says you need to leave town to go on a shopping spree? Good thing to know, we currently have a contest until Decembre 31st that can make you win a free night in one of our lodges. All you have to do is present your bill from a local store to Bromont Tourism office and you are in! Is there a better way to finish you shopping spree than in a spa? Well, Bromont has two. You can either visit the BALNEA spa or the Château Bromont’s spa. Two excellent choices
